It was a nice summer day when me and talented scriptwriter Laura Weckman decided to buy flight tickets to Taiwan. We really wanted to make this trip together. Once we had typed in the digits of my credit card we started planning how to get the needed money for upcoming adventure. Not long after Laura found a video competition with 10 000€ grand prize. The competition was organized by The Association for Finnish Work (Suomalaisen Työn Liitto). In order to win the grand prize one had to make a new kind of marketing video for a Finnish brand. We decided to go crazy with our ideas and take the chance. With the help of our beloved friends we put together a video for a shampoo brand: "Aino Laihaletti kokeilee mustaa magiaa" (Aino Thinplait tries out black magic). We won the competition (and got the money for our flight tickets).

Before we were handed the money we were given the chance to make some more videos. We were entitled to cooperate with many big Finnish brands. Our concept was to say "bye, bye!" to brand guides and go crazy with ideas, try something more experimental and see how the audience reacts. We challenged ourselves to think outside the box when writing scripts for well-known brands. Here you can see what we came up with.
